Born in 1979. Lives in Osaka.

Started performing as OORUTAICHI in 1999.

The initial style was multiple recording of improvisation and has been shifted to the style of PC digital sound with songs (lyrics）.

the frist CD album was released from a domenstic inde label in 2003. With its very unique sound and its improvised own language in the pop and eccentric tracks, widely praised by YAMATSUKA EYE of BOREDOMS, New York disco creator DANIEL WANG and so on.Has performed with domestic and international artists such as FREEFORM,MAURICE FULTON, MOMUS, KEIJI HAINO, RUINS, FUMIYA TANAKA.

EP 'MISEN Gymnastics' including remix by IDJUT BOYS is due to be soon released from BEAR FUNK label owned by UK dub house unit CHICKENLIP member, STEVIE KOTEY.

	OORUTAICHI『YORI YOYO』 This album is OORUTAICHI's first CD album- he has released 2 CD-R albums before and sold more than 1000 copies by word of mouth, and many magazines have featured him as an exceptional singer-songwriter/trackmaker. This official album includes tracks from the previous CD-Rs and new tracks.In this album mainly you can hear dub recording/home recording sound of electric instruments and sampler, so-called 'Bedroom music'.The music which has inspired him to start OORUTAICHI project were The Residents, The Doors, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Aphex Twin, Dancehall Reggae and so on but his unconscious and instinctive songs and track, large-scale melody and unprecedented singing are very unique. Definition of exotic music would be the music you could find somewhere on the earth but it seems that this OORUTAICHI's music itself would attribute to somewhere we have not yet found, it is so fresh and fully festal, maybe so-called 'dopamine music'.
